Pumba is a quiet, respectful boy who loves human company and cuddles. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people but quickly becomes your shadow when he gets to know you.
When he first arrived at Dogwatch, he found the adoption centre environment quite stressful so we arranged for him to go into foster care each evening and be at the adoption centre during the day. This arrangement has worked really well for him and he has progressed brilliantly. Pumba is a fantastic mixer with other dogs and adjusts his play style according to the other dog’s age, size and readiness to play and interact.
Note: Pumba is available for viewing by appointment as he is in foster care there may be days when he is not on site at the Adoption Centre.
Pumba has become a calm, loving dog in a home environment where he has company, consistency and confidence building routines. He will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
